Blank debian system with syslog crap output in console
Excellent, a new server *untouched* with random issue of rsyslog/syslog outputting some shit to screen:
Message from syslogd@temporary at Jun 19 14:39:50 ... kernel:[ 2810.175190] Stack: Message from syslogd@temporary at Jun 19 14:39:50 ... kernel:[ 2810.175745] Call Trace: Message from syslogd@temporary at Jun 19 14:39:50 ... kernel:[ 2810.176348] Code: f3 48 ab c3 0f 1f 44 00 00 b9 00 10 00 00 31 c0 f3 aa c3 66 0f 1f 44 00 00 31 c0 b9 40 00 00 00 66 0f 1f 84 00 00 00 00 00 ff c9 <48> 89 07 48 89 47 08 48 89 47 10 48 89 47 18 48 89 47 20 48 89
The syslog log showed some interesting finds though including what looks to be the primary cause being a BUG: soft lockup - CPU#1 stuck for 23s
connected to the webmin installation.
Just once I would like a server to work without crazy issues; luckily one reboot later and all this is fixed.
